Alphonso mangoes are typically packaged for transport in ventilated 5-ply corrugated cardboard boxes, often featuring individual foam net sleeves or paper wrapping to prevent bruising. For retail, they are packed in 1.5 kg to 5 kg boxes, while pulp is commonly stored in 850g–3.1kg tin cans or 200kg aseptic drums.
